Multiple Contractors Secure $3.2B Premium Contracts for Jeddah Central

Saudi Arabia‘s Jeddah Central Development Company (JCDC) has awarded contracts worth SAR12 billion ($3.2 billion) to erect three significant architectural landmarks — a stadium, an opera house, and an oceanarium — alongside infrastructure and utility facilities, marking Phase One of the Jeddah Central destination.

In its announcement of the new contracts, JCDC disclosed that Modern Building Leaders Company secured two contracts for the development of the Jeddah Central Destination Oceanarium and the Opera House. Additionally, JCDC revealed that the stadium contract was awarded to a consortium comprising the Saudi unit of China Railway Construction Corporation and Sama Construction for contracting.
